Sounds reasonable. I bought a 4100 HST with FEL, 54" mower, grill guard, 4 front end weights, r4 industrial tires, and a 58" Landpride tiller for $16.3K in March. Do you have any other JD dealers in your area. You might be able to work the numbers. As a bonus, in Maryland, if the equipment is to be used for agricultural purposes, you do not have to pay state tax. Check to see if that applies in your area. At 5%, it made the difference in buying the FEL. Good luck. ....

I purchased a 4100 with turf tires and with 54 inch mower and 410 loader in August last year for 15,850. Prices may have gone up a little, but looks to me that your price of 15k is a little high (at least compared to my purchase).

Ok, so I am getting old and my brain is frazzled on some days. I pulled out my bill of sale. I paid $15798.00 (last month)and got a 4100 Gear (manual tranny) , a 410 loader, a 48" gearmore box scraper and a posthole digger (also Gearmore)with a 9" auger. The only problems so far have been that the ag tires that came with the tractor were totally unsuitable for the sand dune I live on in Northern Nevada. The dealer offered no help so I replaced all the rubber with car and truck tires. Also the position of the center link on the 4100 is buried under a steel support and interferes with some implements. ....

I forgot to add that I just closed this deal on may 1st and Deere credit took the loan @ '0' down. That was the main deciding factor for me between a green tractor and an orange tractor. mark ....
